What is BIDA? (Brand Identity Design Automation)

Why The Future of Brand Identity Design is Built on Automation.

After years of designing logos and brand identities, I noticed something broken: the more experienced a designer becomes, the more repetitive the process gets.

Brand Identity Design Automation (BIDA) is my answer — a solution to give designers their time, focus, and creative energy back.

What is BIDA?

Brand Identity Design Automation (BIDA) is the automation of multiple stages across the brand identity design process — enabling designers to instantly execute key tasks such as logo grid creation, client presentations, brand guidelines, and more.

BIDA isn’t about replacing creativity — it’s about freeing it.

It allows designers to focus on ideas, not formatting. On design, not documents.

My Background

I’ve been designing logos and brand identities for almost ten years.

And for as long as I can remember, I’ve always looked for better, faster, more efficient ways to do things — both in design and in life.

I’ve always loved technology, but over time that love turned into a need — a need to solve problems within my field.

As a designer who’s experienced “freelance success,” I also discovered its downside:

the more successful you become, the busier you get.

The less time you have for yourself, your family, or even creative exploration.

You start pushing more pixels, working longer hours, and slowly draining your creative energy.

Eventually, you stop feeling like a designer — and start feeling like just a pair of hands.

That’s when I decided to build my first automation tool: GridIt — a small solution born from a bigger vision — to automate the entire brand identity design process.

To give designers like me time back, creative freedom, and a sense of control again.

Why BIDA Matters

1. Speed

  • Tasks that once took minutes, hours, or even days can now be executed instantly.
  • Designers meet deadlines with ease.
  • Clients receive results faster — without any compromise in quality

2. Precision

  • BIDA ensures consistency and eliminates human error across deliverables.
  • From logo grids to brand guidelines, every document is aligned, accurate, and professional — every time.

3. Wellbeing

  • A designer’s creative energy is the driving force behind every great project.
  • When that energy is drained by repetitive, manual work, both the designer and the results suffer.
  • Automation protects that energy.
  • BIDA allows creatives to stay creative — leaving the tedious tasks to technology.

Why Not Manual Work or Templates?

Manual Design

Even the best designers make mistakes.

Fatigue is real, especially under deadlines.

BIDA systems — built by experienced designers — automate repetitive steps and drastically reduce human error.

Templates

Templates might look like shortcuts, but they cost time and money.

You buy them, customize them, and spend hours replacing components just to make them “fit.”

BIDA skips that process entirely — it creates the output instantly, with your design built in.

Where BIDA Is Used?

The brand identity process involves many repetitive stages — from logo construction to brand guideline assembly.

Each of these can be automated to save hours of manual work, and together can save days.

Each tool automates a core stage of brand identity design, collectively forming the Akrivi Studio suite — the first step toward a fully automated workflow for brand identity designers.

The Future: Creative Efficiency

We’re entering a new era of brand identity design — one powered by creative efficiency.

Technology like AI and automation shouldn’t replace designers; it should empower us.

It should expand what’s possible, not limit it.

Because design isn’t just about visuals — it’s about the designer.

And when designers have more time, less stress, and better tools — everyone wins.

BIDA is the future of brand identity design.
A future where creativity flows, precision is effortless, and designers finally get their time back.
