I Created a Brand Guidelines Generator Illustrator Plugin

The First Illustrator Plugin that Generates Brand Guidelines Instantly
For the last few weeks, I’ve been sharing free templates to help you speed up your brand guidelines process. But while templates are a massive help, they still require manual work. You still have to copy and paste hex codes, replace logos one by one, and type out font names.
I knew there had to be a better way. I didn't just want to make another template; I wanted to fix the workflow entirely.
So, I built it.
I’ve created Guideit, the first Adobe Illustrator plugin designed to generate complete, professional brand guidelines instantly.
How It Works
The goal of Guideit is to keep you in your creative flow. You shouldn't be spending hours acting as a data entry clerk for your own design work.
I designed the plugin to work with simple user inputs. You don't need to drag and drop elements onto artboards manually. You just tell the plugin what the brand is, and it does the building for you.
1. Input Your Assets

First, you input your core brand elements directly into the extension panel. You select your logomark and logotype vectors, choose your primary fonts, and input your color codes.
2. Choose a Style

Next, you select the look and feel. Guideit comes with a library of professional structures, from corporate to contemporary, so you can match the aesthetic to your client.
3. Click Generate

This is the magic part. You hit the button, and the plugin builds the document for you.

Speed and Precision
The difference between using a manual template and this generator is speed.
Once you click generate, Guideit builds the entire multi-page document, covering logo usage, clearspace, typography hierarchies, and color palettes, in about 3 to 7 seconds.
Of course, this depends on the speed of your machine, but compared to the hours it takes to build this by hand, it is a complete game-changer.
Join the Revolution
This tool is going to change how we deliver brand identities. It removes the friction of the "boring" admin work and lets you focus on what you are paid to do: design.
I’m opening up a waitlist for designers who want to be the first to use it.
Conclusion
Building brand guidelines shouldn't be the bottleneck in your projects. With Guideit, I’m aiming to turn a day’s worth of work into a few seconds of automation, giving you back your time and ensuring your clients get a perfect document every single time.
