A New Unified Interface
The first thing you’ll notice is the new look. We are moving away from separate panels for every tool.
Gridit V3 introduces a simplified, all-in-one interface. You will be able to access the Base Grid Generator, Logo Grid Generator, and all our other tools from a single, clean extension window. This means less clutter on your screen and faster switching between tools.
Live Sliders™ for Logo Grid Generator
Precision is key, but so is experimentation. We’re bringing the Live Sliders™ technology, which you might have seen in our Bento Generator, to the Logo Grid Generator.
This means you can now adjust your grid settings, like stroke weight, opacity, and scale, and see them update in real-time on your artboard. No more guessing or clicking "undo." You get instant visual feedback to create the perfect construction grid for your logo.
Introducing the Clearspace Grid Generator™
One of the most requested features is finally here. I’m introducing the Clearspace Grid Generator™.
Defining the safe zone for your logo is a critical step in any brand identity project, but drawing those exclusion boxes manually is tedious. This new tool automates it. Simply select your logo, set your exclusion variable (like the height of a letter), and the generator instantly creates a precise, professional clearspace guide around your mark.
